Dovecot CLOSE my server

Hello i upgrade to dovecot and my server now its completly down..

No ssh acceess
No mysql in direct admin ERROR:

Error connecting to MySQL: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (12)



My site its down because i use mysql and the VPS company ask me if i have idea how can they fix it "GOD".....


Im planning to change vps byt can someone tell me y this problem?


I use DEBIAN 3.1 In VPS

I don't know how you installed Dovecot. I use the method DA wrote (in customapache) and I've set it up on lots of servers. No errors.
