Problems with fresh install 5.1

I just installed DA after reinstalling FreeBSD 5.1. The first thing I noticed is that DA is not starting up and while I start directadmin manually and says it is started but it is not.

This was in the error.log a bunch of times:

Unable to read config file. Check to make sure that /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf.lock doesn't exist

I will keep playing around with the box to figure out what is going wrong.

It was just the same old problem where DA does not identify the network adapter properly. I updated the config with the correct name and got a new license file and it seems to be working.

That's indeed a pretty annoying bug

I'll get that fixed in the next few days. Right now it's hunting through the /etc/rc.conf but I'll change it to grep it out from ifconfig. Same will go for the ip and netmask..etc..
