License is not yet active, Why?

I have a server form FDC. They say that the license is valid (from the control panel):

Active Y
Verified Y
Start Mar 15 2007
Expiry Apr 17 2007

I tried to login into ssh and:

cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
./getLicense.sh UID LID (replaced them ofcourse)
service directadmin restart

I would still get the same error:

License is not yet active

Where is the problem?

Note that the start date for the license is shown as May 15, 2007, which is almost two months in the future.

If you purchased your license from DirectAdmin you'll have to ask their sales department. If the license was supplied by FDC, then they'll have to contact DirectAdmin directly.

It seemed that the date was invalid, I corrected it on the system and DD worked.

I don't know but DD checks the date on the server to validate licenses, which is pretty crazy thing to do. Anyone can fake the date on the system.
