Hello,

I've a server running DirectAdmin, apache, dovecot, exim and proFTPd. How is possible to have always my server up-to-date? Is there a script that run everyday and report to me by e-mail if a new update is available?

Any script that report me that my server need an update?

Many thanks! :)

It's possible to create it by yourself :) But it's not a good idea, because sometimes new releases are bit buggy...

Depending on your OS distribution you can run some kind of up-to-date procedure on the server packages that come with your server (we use yum on our CentOS servers).

For the packages that DA installs you'd have to run your own script to check your versions against the latest ones on the DA site.

As Martynas points out, that may not always be a good idea.
