Transfer of Ownership of Directadmin

I purchased a lifetime license of Directadmin a couple of years ago from a vendor. I have setup my own account today with directadmin so I have my own client ID now. Can the original vendor approve a transfer of my license to my new client ID? I'd like to so that I have full control when changes need made, ie IP address, OS, etc...

Whether or not you can sell the license depends on who owns it.

DirectAdmin has never authorized anyone to resell their licenses. So if you got it from a Vendor, that Vendor is probably listed as the owner. And if it's what DirectAdmin calls an Internal License, then it cannot be resold or transferred, as an Internal License is very limited in its use.

Of course DirectAdmin staff will tell you what you need to know.
