When we create a new account the email is sent with admin as the from, return-path is [email protected] and the sender is also [email protected]. Reply-to header is admin, with the email address we've configured in the DirectAdmin control panel as the address.

We would like to

A: not show our admin name in these emails.
B: redirect any replies to a ticketing system.

It would be much better to have the emails appear to have come from "Support", with the reply-to , and return-path address be the adress of our ticketing sytem.

Is there any way to configure or change these parts of the email sent?

Hello,

As admin, go to:

User Panel -> Account Info / Stats -> change both the email address and "Name". They will be what appears in the email.

John

Almost, but not quite so, John.

I set it to Infopop with an email of [email protected]

The return-path and sender header does not reflect the change.

It expands out to [email protected]; on behalf of; Infopop [[email protected]]
and when you hit reply it goes to support_bot, but nonethless there is an email address there that nobody is answering, that being [email protected].
