Ok. Many users are asking on the forum how to change the license options and the requirements of a license. So i will post these information here.
(also install guid included)

How to change my License information (like OS, IP)
We cant do anything here, you should need to contact "DirectAdmin Sales"

Contact info here: http://www.directadmin.com/support.html

What are the requirements?
Normally this OS's are supported but the other ones works also if its not to old.
Redhat Linux 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, 9.0
RedHat Fedora 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
RedHat Enterprise / CentOS 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0 (64-bit: 4.1 - 4.4, 5.0)
FreeBSD 4.7, 4.8, 4.9, 4.10, 4.11, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.2.1, 5.3, 5.4, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2

Debian Sarge/Woody 3.1/Etch 4.0(BETA)

IP Adresses: They need to be static and not dynamic
At a bare minimum your server must have one IP address. However, for DNS control you will need at least two (2) IP addresses. With only one IP address you will be forced to use an external DNS service -- this means web sites you create through the control panel will not propagate automatically.

Installation intro:
Alright, first of all thing if you want to know what DirectAdmin is installing:

Apache 1.3.37 (jup its leet aint it)
FrontPage 5.0.2.2510
PHP 4.4.6

phpMyAdmin-2.8.0.3
MySQL 4.1.21
Exim 4.63
Majordomo 1.94.5
vm-pop3d 1.1.7f
WU-IMAP
Proftpd 1.3.0
You can update these version later when its installed ;).

Installation Guide:
Please besure you have a clean OS, the static IP thats in your license, SSH installed, gcc and g++ installed.

You can view your license information at: https://www.directadmin.com/clients

Ok lets start...

1) Login as ROOT
2) Download the setup file, using the command:
wget http://www.directadmin.com/setup.sh
(FreeBSD: fetch http://www.directadmin.com/setup.sh)
3) Change permission of the setup file, using the command:
chmod 755 setup.sh
4) Start the setup, using command:
./setup.sh

You need to enter your client ID number, license ID number, and hostname.
The hostname should not be the same as the primary domain name. e.g. gary.com is not a good hostname, where server.gary.com is. Having the same host/main domain name will cause e-mail and FTP problems. Also, please make sure the hostname resolves once you setup DNS.

Access DirectAdmin on your server:
Your DirectAdmin can be accessed at:
http://your-domain.com:2222
(Change your-domain.com in your domain ofcourse and the extention)

The End:
Ok thats the end, you may fix this tutorial via reactions.

Thanks,
Maxhost.

First, I've moved this from Official Announcements to How-To Guides. Though I'm not sure it's fleshed out enough to be a How-To, it's certainly not an official announcement; those come from DirectAdmin staff and others they authorize.

I also removed their email address; I think only the people who will suffer if spammers scrape their email address should publish it. Please feel free to publish your own, but please don't publish someone else's.

I don't know what you mean about other operating systems; since you have to order DA for a specific OS, I think this is a bit confusing.

Now, let's see if anyone is going to flesh this out.

Jeff
