Hi,all,i am new to this DA thing, thanks in advance.

My OS is Debian Etch, clean install as well as DA officially suggests. I checked this page http://www.directadmin.com/install.html ,in the What Gets Installed part, please check, and i have several questions to ask:

1. I would like to use Apache2.x, PHP5.X and Mysql 5.X,how to do ?

2. By the default installtion, the PHP comes from DA installation is installed as a module of apache or what ? <if it is,oh,that is i really want to avoid ,simply i would not to use the default MPM from apache2 which is prefork, but worker is what i prefer,in the meantime the worker mode CAN NOT work with php which is installed as a module of apache >

3. This one is related to the two in above anyways, I would like to install php in fcgi mode, that i usually do apt-get php5-cgi libapach2-mod-fcgid. How to do ?

Sorry for my english and my logic too.

Thanks to all.

Thanks. As being a newbie of mine,i think i would stick with the defaults, thus less trouble, but i will try when i have more experiences on using DA :) Thank you for reply.
