- krb5-devel
...and I will add more to the list once I see it.... It is just installing...

.....
Not sure what is going on with bind9..... but it did not install as well because some libs missing....

Just used Debian 4.0 CD1 to install base system and that is all.... for now...

Upssss I might find a reason.....
apt-get install libperl-dev gcc g++ make unzip liburi-perl libxml2-dev libstdc++5 libstdc++5-3.3-dev psmisc libextutils-autoinstall-perl

will check and update....

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
bind9: Depends: libdns22 (= 1:9.3.4-2) but 1:9.3.4-2etch1 is to be installed
Depends: libisccfg1 (= 1:9.3.4-2) but 1:9.3.4-2etch1 is to be installed
Depends: libisc11 (= 1:9.3.4-2) but 1:9.3.4-2etch1 is to be installed
Depends: libisccc0 (= 1:9.3.4-2) but 1:9.3.4-2etch1 is to be installed

anyone? I am about to go to datacenter and reinstall the server again today ...

I can fix that for you, but it's 2:15AM here :) Maybe in the morning? Or, try to install dependencies via apt-get manually.

I tried to install those and here you go...:
what do you suggest I should do, Cause I am going nuts over here ....

ok, system reinstalled.... standard base system...nothing else.... and the packages which were shown above ...
apt-get install libperl-dev gcc g++ make unzip liburi-perl libxml2-dev libstdc++5 libstdc++5-3.3-dev psmisc libextutils-autoinstall-perl
+ ssh + mc + zip + flex + bison

and I see exim was installed by default as well....without asking me .... should I uninstall it?

smtalk: so what do you suggest to do now.... do the touch /root/.custombuild and then ./setup.sh
it should work, isn't it? let me know ....

should I install anything like ca-certificates, gb or whatever....I had problem with before ...or is ./setup.sh with custombuild going to take care of it.... it seems to be funky ....

DA itself should uninstall exim, but you can manually remove it too:

apt-get remove exim4 exim4-base exim4-config

smtalk: so what do you suggest to do now.... do the touch /root/.custombuild and then ./setup.sh
it should work, isn't it? let me know ....
I never tested, first always installed DA and own apache/php system, then custombuild. Also when first time install DA to Debian Etch, install halt to wget problems ... just restart install and everything works ok (tested many times)

should I install anything like ca-certificates, gb or whatever....I had problem with before ...or is ./setup.sh with custombuild going to take care of it.... it seems to be funky ....
Not should, install script shoulds handle everything with install procedure what needed

And question, what /etc/apt/sources.list you are using ?

Ex. finnish mirrors, and WORK FINE just etch/stable, never used unstable/testing versions ...

Ok, ....... it is just compiling apache2..

1) gd .... someone needs to fix that.... everytime I run ./setup.sh it says that it is not there and fails or does whatever....

2) yes it puked on WGET.... had to run the ./setup.sh second time.....

3) this time I saw it got to the point when the scripts checks for existence of /root/.custombuild ....
so it is going and ...going .... will update after a second....

Ok, did a screenshot when it complained...
