DA automatically upgrade packages

does DA automaticallly upgrade its services whenever there are updates(securtity or whatever) for it?

true but it'd be nice if DA maybe sent a notice or something whenever they made a new rpm available

Let's see, the current pre alpha version of our server management system is able to do :
Apache Yes, together with custom php configurations
DirectAdmin Still waiting on response on how to use DA's own core to do it
Exim Not yet
MySQL Yes, athough there is a bug in the system causing it to repeat this installation
Named Not yet
ProFTPd Not yet
sshd Not yet
vm-Pop3d Not yet

It takes about a day to write a working installation for a new program, as long as the management system's core want's to coorperate. Which it doesn't at the moment. (It tends to execute all commands in different threads at once, wasn't really the intention.)

But, someone is working on the 'DA doesn't have auto updating' "issue"...

In the mean time just keep an eyeon on the Version updates forum.
