Hello every one who can help me.

I have installed a Apache server on a windows 98 machine, ok it's not my choice. It is for testing a cgi/perl script that gives a web-page based output.
Every thing works fine on the machine, a fast connection with the net.
But when I start Apache, the .html files are on the screen before you know.
When I call a simple cgi/perl script, like 'Hello world'. It takes 'hours' before the output shows up.

I have installed many times apache on windows 98, this is the first time that the a simple script doesn't work, anyone who knows what it could be or how to make Apache quicker?

I've moved this thread to Off-Topic Discussion; I really can't think of anything more offtopic than running Apache on Windows 98 ;) .

Even if you did find why Apache was having problems on resolving a cgi script on Windows 98, I doubt it would map to an error/problem on Linux.

You might want to find a Windows Linux forum to ask on.
