I need some advice re reloading

I backed off a table using phpmyadmin from my old server.

I changed ISPS and the new one forces a username with a prefix of my user id. I cannot change that.

So I signed in and selected the dumped file from my old ISP and tried to upload it..

It errored out because the table names do not match..

How can I get around the table name so I can get my data back up there..

My expertise in sql is less that zero.. So realize that you are talking to a dummy!

Help is greatly needed and appreciated.. The file has multiple tables on it..

Hello,

Try editing the file, and just change all occurances of the old name with the new name (search and replace). Then try the restore.

The site is down now.. Not a good sign.. I moved there because the other place 1and1.com was down for 36 hours and never responded to my email.. Sure hope I haven't made a bad move..

I appreciate the info.. Never even thought of trying to edit the file because of the .sql end..
