Hello,

According to the needs of our (different) users, we wanted to use skins in order to let users access (or not) part of the functions of Direct Admin.

Example :
Some of our users have their website hosting on another server. We would like to let them manage only their e-mail (and we manage their dns).
If the user log as 'user', he can only manage e-mails. Cool !
If we log as 'reseller', we can log in as our user (managing account) to access dns management... but it does not work because the skin is associated to reseller as 'user' not as 'reseller'.
Ok, I've got a workaround (changing the skin while I managing the dns and setting it back after finishing... but it's not that easy).

Any idea on how to do this more securely (I know I will forget to put the right skin back...).

Thank's !

Jeremy

The only real way to do it without changing the skin back and forth would be to create a script and use the API.. might not be what you're looking for, but the API is completely independant of skins, so you wouldn't need to do any changes.
