Hi all,

i am new at this , so hopefully someone can help me.

I am using mailscanner and spamassassin.
We have a blackberry server and it send a file when I am registrate
a new user a ETP.DAT file.
But when the blackberry server is sending the etp.dat file it's blocked
by mailscanner , witch is saying that the file is infected

Nov 8 10:22:34 spam MailScanner[2329]: Saved infected "ETP.DAT" to /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine/20071108/1D47523A3F.68F6E

I edit the filename.rules.conf and said that the file is allowed

allow \.dat$ - -
allow \etp.dat$ - -

Still when I am restarting mailscanner / spamassassin and Postfix
the file is blocked with the same error message as above.

Can anyone please help me

Thanks

If you're using MailScanner, SpamAssassin and Postfix, then you're not using DirectAdmin. This is a DirectAdmin support forum.
