redirect web petitions to another DNS server

I have a domain hosted with one server, and I want to redirect web petitions to another web server that is hosted for another host. But I only want to redirect web trafic, conserving mail, ftps, etc.. Its possbile to do this?
What I have to change in the DNS registers?

DNS only resolves domain names to IP#s. It doesn't look at traffic protocol, so you'd have to use some other solution; perhaps an .htaccess file in the first host?
