custombuild question

Hi, i 've read about ./build used_configs option.

I just want to be sure that it won't install anything in my system. I use freebsd with all packages installed from ports and i dont want to mess anything.
I just want from time to time to check for the confs for changes and then edit my own by hand.

Is it ok to run it without worrying?

"./build used_configs" just shows used configs, it doesn't touch any files.
