Patching Holes

So, there are some new patches out for:

openssh
openssh-clients
openssh-server

It is not suggested to run up2date in a machine with DA installed, so what is the best way to to keep systems up to date? I got burned once by not having our machines updated.. and don't want it to happen again.

manually do upgrades and patches... up2date seems to break all control panels with certain commands

We have a script out which will add the affected programs to a skip list, so that up2date won't update anything required by DirectAdmin. The script is in beta, but we've run it with up2date, without any problems.
