We run a commercial per domain fallback service for the somewhat larger companies. It is used many times as a frontend relay to protect or offload scanning services of the primary mailserver (Exchange, Lotus etc.). In the meantime, it seems that more and more people are getting interested in fallback services.

Before we start to add new services to this platform, I'd really like to know what people are looking for in fallback services. Please be as specific as possible on this and we will take everything into consideration.

For us, the most important feature would be an API to ease fallback management for all customers. We already provide control panel access where (limited) centralized management is possible. Of course, we would be happy to hear your thoughts on this as well.

Other things that come to mind are; centralized RBL management, control RBL's for all domains on a per domain setting. Queue management (which is partly covered at the moment by centralized queue retries). Automized domain adding and removal etc.

I'm looking forward to your replies. Please note that we have not yet decided on actually making this a commercial package as of yet. We may or may not decide to continue after all depending on several factors, of which your interest is one.
