Hi,

We are a reseller and it has come to our attention that none of our clients are able to email AOL users. AOL considers any email to be spam.

How do we fix this?

We have read things about reverse DNS and most state that we need to modify the named.conf file. As we are not server administrators we do not have access to this file.

What are we supposed to do?

Thanks for any assistance,

Scott

you could have been blocked without reason

we have reverse dns, but still got blocked....and we definately don't send spam/bulk mail

check http://postmaster.aol.com./
for more info

i send 3 mails regarding this, 2 weeks ago, no respons yet...And i am not gonna call them

you might be without knowing because they block whole ip ranges instead of single IP's.

The way to know you're not on a black list is to enter all your server IP#s (one at a time) to the topmost input field at:

http://openrbl.org/

and see what it returns.
