I have problem. I bought VPS with CentOS 5.4 64bit (they had only that, something else and Debian 5.0 64bit), unfortunately with Plesk on it :///

When I'm trying install DA, I getting error about 64bit that I should make links, so I did it.
Than that I gonna need G++, so I putting yum install gcc-c++ and I'm getting this :

yum install gcc-c++

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.

Anyone can help with this me ???

Format the server...you cannot install da on anything but a freshly formatted server.

While what scsi writes isn't totally true, it is true that you'll have to completely remove Plesk and if Plesk install has made any changes to the base OS you'll have to revert to a standard base OS install. While a good server administrator may be able to work through all the errors that come up, it might take many hours; it's probably not worth using this vendor if they cannot supply a base OS install.

If a vendor won't install a base OS but will install Plesk, then they probably have a financial arrangement to push you towards Plesk (which has reseller options built on) and you'll probably never have any problems resolved if you remove Plesk.

Just my opinion; I was a Plesk Gold Partner but migrated to DirectAdmin many years ago.

One and One by any chance?

Jeff
