FrontPage: is it the only way I can build my site?

Can you only use microsoft frontpage to work on your website? I'm just now finding out that I do not have FrontPage on my computer. What now? Will have to purchase the program in order to build and make changes to my website or is there a way to work around this?

Hopefully you can't buy FrontPage; It's been marked end-of-life by Microsoft and it shouldn't be sold any longer.

Many DirectAdmin server administrators no longer support it but your provider may still support it.

You should ask your hosting company how to upload your site. Almost all hosting companies support FTP, and all current site-building packages support FTP. DirectAdmin also has it's own file-manager, and some hosting companies also build in various site-building packages.
