Hi all,

I have a simple question:

How can I setup my e-mail accounts and DNS records so I can use it to sign in Windows Live Messenger?

I found some instructions that include changes in MX, CNAME , PTR and spf records.. so I have done it all but nothing have changed!

Please if there is anybody have done it correctly and it worked, give me the proper way to do it.

Thanks in advance

What are you trying to do? What does email have to do with live messenger? You should be able to register any email address at passport.com. Im confused on what your doing.

Are you referring to Windows Live Mail? That is an email client, whereas Windows Live Messenger is a "Chat" client (aka MSN).

If you are referring to Windows Live Mail (and not Hotmail), then you can easily setup your client to connect to your POP3 email server. There's nothing special you will need to do with regards to DNS settings.
