Hello,

I recently had to migrate to a new server and transfered my license. I did a backup from the old server, then used the restore function to restore user files,dns,mail,etc.

Everything is working fine except the retrieval of e-mail, whether by webmail or using a web client. Here is an example error output from the maillog. I've verified that the password file does exist (replaced actual domain with domain.com for privacy).

Code:
May 24 11:48:21 athens dovecot: auth(default): shadow([email protected],::ffff:99.73.192.169): unknown user
May 24 11:48:21 athens dovecot: auth(default): passwd-file([email protected],::ffff:99.73.192.169): no passwd file: username_format=david /etc/virtual/domain.com/passwd
May 24 11:48:23 athens dovecot: auth(default): shadow([email protected],::ffff:99.73.192.169): unknown user
May 24 11:48:23 athens dovecot: auth(default): passwd-file([email protected],::ffff:99.73.192.169): no passwd file: username_format=david /etc/virtual/domain.com/passwd
