Will custombuild ever be able to make use of /etc/make.conf on FreeBSD?

I know custombuild uses "make -j2" for some apps, but it still uses the default gcc (4.2) instead of the one from ports (4.4) and it doesn't use any of the flags in make.conf which is a shame...

Is this feature coming to custombuild?

Why should custombuild have to do that? I would think when you call make it should know to read the settings from make.conf.

Well, it doesn't work that way on FreeBSD, because the base and the ports gcc can be different and custombuild picks up the base one.
