i cannot connect to directadmin on port 2222

I have installed direct admin but I can't connect to DirectAdmin on port 2222. And when I checked the status of directadmin using these commands. It has been seen following issues
1).
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/directadmin status
directadmin dead but subsys locked
2).
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/directadmin restart
Stopping DirectAdmin: [FAILED]
Starting DirectAdmin: [ OK ]
3).
cd /usr/local/directadmin
./directadmin b2000
Debug set to level 2000
Unable to read config file. Cannot find the diradmin user. Make sure the diradmin user exists in your system.<br>
This error also comes up when the wrong OS is selected in the license. These binaries were compiled for: Redhat CentOS 5.0<br>
Segmentation fault

I think, you'd better to reinstall directadmin, using official installation script.

And you are running CentOS 5.x (also check uname -a output).
