i made a mistake under IP management.

i accidently clicked "clear DNS" for my ns2.mydomain.com.

now i can't add it again, may i know what to do from here?

how can i assign a IP address to the user "coold"? as i already assigned an IP to this user and this IP was set to ns1.

69.56.xxx.xxx owned admin coold ns1.coold.net 255.255.255.0

hope i made myself clear.

thanks

Hello,

The "clear DNS" button *only* removes the text from the ip, it doesn't actually do anything to your system's dns settings. If you want to re-add the text, just add it to the ns= field in the /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ips/69.56.xxx.xxx file.

I'm not clear on the current state of the IP with regards to assigning it to the User. If you assigned it to him before, he'll still have it. Whats does the IP manager currently show?

John
