Why does bandwidth being exceeded not quickly resolve when fixed?

A sites badwidth was exceeded and when the site is accessed on the web this message appears: "This account has been suspended. Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."

After increasing the bandwidth above the level it needed the message is still there after 30 plus min. Why would it take so long to resolve?

On a related issue, the DA message system notified me about this but since I do not log on everyday did not know about it until 5 days of down time! Any way to get the notices sent to an email address rather than only the DA internal messaging system?

When you increased the users bandwidth usage did you also unsuspend his account? His account will remain suspened until the end of the month or until you do it regardless if there is enough bandiwdth now since its already been suspended.

You can recieve emails for tickets. On the main ticket page near the bottom should be a check box to check if you would like to recieve a copy of all tickets and then the email address to send them to.
Check the box, fill in your email address and click save. All future tickets should send an email copy to the email you saved.

Thanks jmstacey, did not unsuspend at the time, and thanks for advice on the emails.
