suphp.org down

Anybody know about what happen to suPHP site at http://suphp.org ? It's been down for more then two days.

Also, I really hope the developer soon start to work on the project again, we need suPHP to be actively developed.

I can't do anything, but hope. The problem with suPHP, is that it rely on one single person - instead it should be incorporated as a official Apache project.

I am nervous about suPHP future.

May by just a problem with their webserver, as telnet suphp.org 80 connects but doesn't respond.

Googling finds nothing so far.

In my testing with CloudLinux, I was forced to use a CGI php in order to profit from the configured limitations. Firstly I used suphp because that's what DA gets you when you choose php-cgi. But performance-wise it's just really slow. I'm now using mod_fcgid, which is much faster. It's because the spawned processes will stay alive after finishing the request (for a configured amount of time), instead of dying instantly.

But, I think the future will be PHP-FPM. It will also be added in CustomBuild 2.0.
