Server refused to allocate pty

I rebooted the server. SSH gives the following error: Server refused to allocate pty The server is not VPS. CentOS installed.

How can I solve the problem?

Note I googled to find this on the 'net. I have no experience with it myself.

Does your fstab include this line (or similar)?

none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0

If not, add it, and reboot to see if it fixes the problem. Of course you'll need to be local to the server to do it.
