Assigned Dedicated IP - no response

Hi,

I'm having trouble with DirectAdmin. I'm a reseller and I bought a new IP address in order to do SSL.

I saw I had my new IP address available under CMD_IP_CONFIG

I assigned it to a new domain: aloeproducts.us

I created a new account using that new domain.

I get no :2222 response. No HTTP response. I created a FTP user, no FTP response.

Here's the IP address: 65.254.42.107

Did I do something wrong?
 
Perhaps.

You say you bought a new IP address. Are you an admin, a reseller, or a user?

If you're an admin then you need to find out why your server isn't answering to 65.254.42.107.

If you're a reseller or user (domain owner) then you can let your hosting company do it for you.

Your server doesn't know about 65.254.42.107.

This could be because the network is set up wrong, because another machine already had the IP# assigned, or for a multitude of other reasons.
