Hi. How to new install DirectAdmin with custombuild 2.0? I started setup.sh and it show only custombuild 1.1 and 1.2.

Hello,

It's officially still alpha, but we're very close to making it BETA.
Right now, the next step is to for us to finish up a few minor features in DA so that we can release 1.42.0 as beta (release candidate).
Once 1.42.0 is out, then CB 2.0 will "officially" be BETA.
We hope to release DA 1.42.0 RC1 (eg: BETA) within a few weeks, then in full a few weeks after that (when CB 2.0 is "officially" BETA)
In reality, there isn't really anything left to do with CB 2.0, so if you grab the current pre-release DA binaries, it will essentially be the same thing.
However, the purpose of testing is to find any issues that we have not yet found (hopefully there are none), which is why we cannot yet officially recommend using it on a production system.

The "official" beta release will be with DA 1.42.0. CB 2.0 is ready for BETA, but DA is not released yet, so it would cause confusion if we announced CB 2.0 right now. Hoping to have DA 1.42.0 release candidate out sometime within a week.

Will it still be possible to use custombuild 1.1 and 1.2 for new installations and existing ones?

Oh yes, of course. If you really wanted, you can still chose customapache (apache 1.3, php4, etc..), but you shouldn't ;)

For some servers we'll need still suPHP, at least until we make sure to get the similar with PHP-FPM. And still PHP4 is required for our customers, that's odd and insecure, but still we do need it.
