The new virtual-host template for CB 2.0

In the changelogs of Directadmin i read this:

Does this mean that the current vhost-template is upgraded to a future update for Custombuild 1.2 to 2.0 on my server?
And does this mean that this new vhost-template is working on current setups with CB 1.2?

All templates located in /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/ get updated and overwritten with every Directadmin update, if you want to use custom templates, then you should copy them to /usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/

Well, the template exists since 03 Nov 2012, no issue has been ever seen with it, even on those servers, where we use CB 1.2 with customized templates:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/virtual_host2*.conf

Note we don't have

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom/user_virtual_host.conf

And still the things are OK. So I'd guess the template is not used if you are not using CB 2.0

So, i can safely update DA to the recent version without using CB 2.0?
Right?

Who knows what customization you might have there. I won't give any guarantee. With default templates it is quite safe to update.
