mod_fcgid and ~username

Hello,

In a test server, we upgraded to custombuild 2.0 (beta), installed PHP 5.3 as mod_fcgid , the test WordPress is running fine at http://www.xxx.com/wordpress with end-user identity.

However, if I run it at http://1.2.3.4/~xxx/wordpress , it works too but running user is "apache" , not the end-user identity.

Is there any way to switch back the identity as end-user one?
