i found out how to upgrade but is directadmin and custombuild 1.2.39 compatiable with it ?

As far as I know Directadmin and custombuild are currently being tested on Debian 7.
I would highly recommend that you don't try and upgrade on a production system just yet.
Hold on until we get the green light, otherwise you could run into a lot of problems that you wont get any support for.
