I have 2 servers.
The first server, I don't use directadmin and turn off safe-mode in php.ini.
My server was hacked by backdoor scripts via upload service.
I also has that script and try to hack my own server. It's very easy. I can hack any websites in my server within a few second minutes. I can edit, delete, change any files in my server and I can see php files code include password for connect mysql.
I search all and I guess safe-mode off is the problem but I can't turn off safe-mode for this servers because many website have poor coding. It's error.
The second website, I decide to buy directadmin for this server and try to protect some website that no problem with safe-mode.
I 'll move them to this server for protect them from backdoor script via uploading service.
But... The problem is...
I have changed safemode to on in php.ini already
but phpinfo show safemode on only master but not include local.
How can I change change safe-mode to on in local?
and If 've I changed safe-mode to on in master and local already, Can it protect backdoor script go around my server and edit any files in any website right?
