option.conf no need to backup if doesn't exist

Actually, it would be backing up the defaults.. something you may want to reference later on, especially if you're making custom changes.
I'd be more inclined to leave the question there.

we are taking about 2 lines from each other, not an entire installation process.
it'd be better to simply add a ./build get_default_options (or similar) - much more useful...
