Which ftpd server do you prefer?

i've been using pure ftpd just because thats what got installed on both directadmin and cpanel, was not a conscious decision due to research was just laziness on my part.
But I got to wondering if maybe I should look at Pro FTPD, what do you guys use and why?

DirectAdmin previously used ProFTPd, but switched to Pure FTP by default because of perceived issues. However we found some of our clients couldn't log in throug Pure FTP, so we switched back.

never had (personally) and issues with pure and logins, on cpanel (I just now remembered this) I did test pro for a day but I did have login issues using tls.
didn't use it long enough to see what advantages it had, if any, over pureftpd.
need to find a comparison chart somewheres outlining capabilities.
