I see these in my /var/log/messages log

Jun 23 17:59:52 server kernel: Firewall: *TCP_OUT Blocked* IN= OUT=eth0 SRC=myserverip DST=208.83.137.118 LEN=60 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=29234 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=45406 DPT=2703 WINDOW=14600 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 UID=501 GID=502

It seems its SpamAssassin module Razor sending out to cloudmark.com

CSF has port 2703 blocked and if I am reading the messages correctly this is trying to send on port 2703. Google search came up with outgoing port 2703 need to be open.

Does anyone know what Razor may be trying to send out ?
Should I open port 2703 ?

I tend to not like my server sending out info I don't know about or what it is.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes ofcourse you should allow it, because without it, Razor2 wont work.

From the first line in the wiki I pointed you to:
Razor establishes a distributed and constantly updating catalogue of spam in propagation that is consulted by email clients to filter out known spam.
So that's why port 2703 is used. Updating catalogue, checking filters.
