tar loading problem

This seems to be similar to the direct admin problem I posted before in which the skin had an error running. While this was running I had an extremely hard time loading into my control panel and only till I killed the processes would DA fully load. Is this something on DAs side since no processes were to be running on our server at the time. Thanks again and your product has been extremely wonderful .

tar is a userspace program and it is NOT a daemon.

If tar is running it's running because you, or some other user, or a cron job running as you or some other user, or root, is running it.

It could be a runaway backup process.
