Hello all.

I have a domain registered under godaddy.com, ipodtut.com.

Right now, it's on redirect/forward to url. I want it to point to the site exactly with the DNS servers so I can see the source of it and don't have the framed/refresh problem.

I took my dns servers and typed them in. It says error. Wtf? And how does it know what site I own if I type the DNS servers in? I'm confused...

it's just trying to resolve the nameservers to an ip. are the nameservers based on ipodtut.com? i.e. ns1.ipodtut.com ns2.ipodtut.com

if so, you need to create your nameserver record with godaddy before you can use them.

in the control panel, you check your domain and click on "Domain Host Summary"

There you can add NS!.yourdomain.com and type in an ip that it should point to.

on the other hand, if you are using nameservers that already exist and aren't yours, .. then for some reason godaddy can't resolve them to an ip.
