Although, since my hostname of the DA box is da1.showbase.com 205.236.139.11, how can I make a configuration of ns1.showbase.com pointing at the same IP 205.236.139.11 and ns2.showbase.com let's say at 205.236.139.12 ? Do I make a A record such as

ns1 A 205.236.139.11
OR
ns1 A da1.showbase.com.

Thanks!

A records always require IP#s.

CNAME records can resolve to other names.

But any record using a CNAME for resolution can't be used anywhere else in the zone file.

Since nameserver records are usually referred to elsewhere in the zone file, don't use CNAMEs for nameserver records.

But it is ok to create a A record to fix this matter resolving da1, ns1 and ns2 ???

Yes, just use A records.

Note that for nameservers to work, they also need to be registered at the same registrar where the domain was registered.

Note also that registering a nameserver is NOT the same as assigning it to a domain; the procedure differes from registrar to registrar, so I can't tell you how to do it.

I think .com need to register them as child name servers.
in .ca, there is no such feature. they go by reference in the domain NS in question.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
