i'm running RHEL3 with DA, there is no problem so far, but i'm going to switch to another server provide, they only have centos3.1.

they said centos has some compatibility problem, is that true, DA okay with centos3.1?

thanks

The only compatibility problem will be with the /etc/redhat-release file. If it doesn't work, I can supply a file that does, but I know it works with CentOS 3.3; I've installed it.

jlasman,

can you write how to install DA on CentOS 3.3?
I have plan to install it
Thank's for any help and attentions.

I agree with Phi1.

Once DA changed the install routine to recognize the /etc/redhat-release file contents it ran just as it has on any other platform.

ut oh

I looked at the link and couldn't find anything that said anything about installing on to CentOS 3.x

I'm sorry for being a moron, truly.

But can anyone tell me for sure that they got DA onto CentOS 3.4 which I already have running on my server, and how to buy a DA license since it's not listed in Step 1: Do you meet the system requirements?

Thanks.

By now you should have gotten my PM response.

However I'll add this for the purpose of the thread...

Yes, DA works fine on CentOS 3.x.
