mod_jk2 and mod_proxy

Hi, I am new to DA, I have subscribed VPS service from a company and I am also using DA. I wanted to install mod_jk2 and mod_proxy for apache server currently I have with the DA. (have not updated) But I am getting some installation error, mainly missing some libs. I am wondering if anyone did similiar work and how to get around this.

No, from reading many related posts on this site. I think DA may have a deamon itself and it is very hard to do so. In fact security wise it may not be a good idea. I want to research a bit on the php proxy.

DA runs a "directadmin" daemon which is a statically compiled program written in C++. You cannot add any apache mods to it.
