https:// some times not working

it's been happening on two of my servers, any content in private_html would not shown up *sometimes*, after a while it will back to norm.

has anybody experienced the same? i was really wondering why.:confused:
 
That's close to impossible. I'd say it's impossible except it's happening.

When it happens log in through either ftp or ssh, and see what if anything, is in the private_html directory.

this is indeed happening to my home PCs!

anyway, i've tried to login https from other computers from my working place but it worked.

so it could be my own computer problem, is there any settings that i can turn in IE and firefox?

It still doesn't make sense.

Are you sure you're typing in the https?

If so, when it happens, empty your browser cache and click on "reload".

Does that help?

Watching the server log while it's happening could give you a clue.

Hi,

I've come accross this problem as well when using proxy servers (at work) and sometimes when my PC is running at high CPU load. I know this is not a DA problem because I can try it on several computers at the same time and some work while others do not.

This is a timeout issue on a per computer basis.

that's correct, when my PC is running many services, my IE can't connect https.

but i don't quite understand why "This is a timeout issue on a per computer basis.", my other servers don't have this issue.
