recently I had to help someone get directadmin to work on freebsd 4.9, the problem is that the seup.sh script tries to fetch a few packages with pkg_add but fails because the freebsd4.9 path no longer exists on ftp.freebsd.org, I think directadmin will wither need to change the required freebsd version to 4.10 or change their setup.sh script to work with older versions.

Might as well make 4.10 the minimum.
Doesn't 4.9's EOL come up before the end of the year and 4.10 was extended to some time next year?

4.8 had a longer life span so isnt EOL yet and as 4.10 is newer it also isnt EOL I also think you are right and that 4.10 has the extended lifespan as well. But to avoid confusion and people complaining about setup.sh not working they should make 4.10 the minimum, to get round it I fetched manually from the 4.10 location and installed after I downloaded the packages, after that setup.sh skipped that step and proceeded.
