5.3 named failure -- rndc.key?

These errors are coming up in my /var/log/messages. This is a fresh 5.3 installation. I tried finding rndc.key as referrenced in this post - http://www.directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5735&highlight=rndc.key

but I could not find it anywhere (nor do I know what that file does....)
