DA will not run under Network Address Translation.

The server must actually run on the IP# it's ordered for.

It is also specified in the installation guide requirments.
It is. Imho, it should also be stated more clearly in the system requirements.

Thank You all for you replys... :)

I'm not actually in a datacenter right now with my server.. My server is now at home becaus of the OS Fedora Core 3.. I did not know if DA would work on this server so I requested a Trial license..

I will see what i can do.. It is even so that i can open ports en direct them to my server.. isn't there a list or something with the port DA uses so that I can open them?

There are a couple of threads on these forums that I know of that do have recommended lists. Try searching ;)

Just incase, you do realise that opening ports to your server will not solve the problem unless this is for a firewall, right?

The only port that needs to be open to see if DA will run is port 2222.

However unless your server is on the same IP# the trial license was ordered for, it won't install.

In my license I entered the IP adress that is public.. So that must be ok...

I will see what i can do and let you all know..

Thank you very much all!

If that's the same address the server is running on, then DA will install.

If DA is running on another address, and your router is using NAT along with forwarding, then DA will NOT install.
