Pop3 Email Accounts

Hi

I need to move some customers accounts to another server. I have do this manually because the other server has a different operating system.

My question is there anyway I can see the password a customer has set for their pop3 email accounts so I can set up the email account on the new server with the same password so they don't need to change any email settings.

I only have reseller access and not admin access.

I think it just uses shadow password files.

Jon is partially right.

DA uses files similar to the linux /etc/shadow file, but they're separate files for each domain.

You cannot regain passwords because the encryption used is a one-way encryption.

You'll have to ask your clients their passwords, or install default passwords.

If both operating systems use the same coding method then you might be able to cut and paste password encodes, but it's not a job for the fainthearted.
