I upgraded my version of MySQL to 4.1.11 as my old server was at 4.1.8 and the new one at 4.0.23 and would import the database tables.

Problem now is that DA Service monitor emails me every hour with a ticket saying MySQL isnt runnit, but it is.

Service Monitor screen starts and stops the service OK, but fails to recognise it is running OK.

I guess the format of the PID changed or something, is there any way of changing the service monitor so it recognises the new version.

Anyone please?

Please state your OS when describing such problems. This doesn't happen on FreeBSD 5.x per example.

AS I said, sorry, should know better.

The new machine I have just got is running Redhat 3.0 enterprise. Apache 1.3, PHP 4.1 and now MySQL 4.1.11, quite successfully, apart from the hourly emails.

Thanks for replying.

Regards,

Phil.
