Hi,

I have just recently reformated the hard disk and install direct admin on it. I use to have SSL, i have backed up server.crt , server.csr and server.key

Now how do i restored my domain ssl without crashing direct with directadmin.

Those don't sound like the filenames DirectAdmin uses, so I assume your talking about the cert for apache?
If so you can do that for the domain/account in question from the user level of that account.

Yes i used to have a pure linux box only (without any control panel)

So what do i do under the user level ?

how do i restored this cert back?

Hi,

Read the ssl.htm, looks confusing, is there a simplier to understand way to know which files to overwrite in the box ?

(The page looks to me that i have to re-generate a cert again)

Is for one domain.

Thank You

anyone can tell me how to use the three files to get my ssl back up ?

This reply presumes you're installing the cert for a domain already set up to use it's own IP, under the DA interface.

You only need two files.

Read the section:

Step 3: Install the Certificate

on "this site.

First paste into that window the contents of your "server.key" file, then immediately under it the contents of your "server.crt" file.

Click on the radio button next to "Paste a pre-generated certificate and key"

Then click on "Save".
